Some life experiences shake you and your existence

Some life experiences shake you and your existence.
I probably feel deep down into one myself everyday.
Finding myself and where I belong, every single day, every single moment.

Getting back in the studio or even to my own identity as an artist has been incredibly hard.
Honestly, it still is pretty much the hardest thing.

Suddenly, when you associate your identity with something & someone so much!
And, suddenly you are ripped off that in moments.
It shakes every bit of who you are.

In this miss of belongingness that I experience everyday.
It definitely it a lot of courage for me to start this piece.

Honestly, I was okay even if I picked up a brush.
I was taking myself to ask to many questions.
Like, I usually would.

But, then this came up.
I knew I was trying to tie some threads here.
Jewelry, clothing, fashion mostly what we call things are what I have left of my mother.

The only piece of my belonging.
This wasn’t just another jewelry painting for me.

This is my souls way of seizing whatever little way of my belongingness and the bits of my lost identity.
I can, but by bit.

As I question my artist self everyday, these days.
I also know that only she can find ways like these🖤
